Endemic – Terminal Illness Review

Endemic – Terminal Illness
Gritty and raw while remaining melodic and original, ‘Terminal Illness’ is a worthy debut from NY based Endemic. Far from sounding like a gimmick the highlight of the project is hearing a variety of rappers from the US and UK sharing gutter beats, a partnership best seen on ‘Political minds’. Tracks like ‘Hydrocrites’ feat M9 and Masikah, and ‘I’m show Ya’ are straight ill and another example of the sickness UK spitters bring on US Production. To break up the aggression Endemic shows his diversity with soulful joints ‘Can’t Stand to Wake Up’ and ‘Not like Us’ , the later of which is strictly a female assination and a welcome return of Notts gem C-Mone. Get you neck right ‘cos the head knodding is evitable. | Review Ali Raymond
